Basically, it is an alternative to using dental wired braces. Dental clinics all over the world have already adopted this treatment. You can look for an Invisalign dentist Calgary SE based located near you.

What is Invisalign Treatment?

The Invisalign straightens teeth using transparent, removable and customized aligners to fit your teeth perfectly. The aligner is replaced every two weeks, so you can track the progress and positioning of your teeth. The Invisalign is comfortable, proven to be effective and is widely used by more than 3 million patients worldwide.

The aligners are designed with smooth and nearly invisible plastic materials that are worn over your teeth. Unlike dental braces, aligners have no wires or metal brackets. This takes away the inconvenient and uncomfortable wires that sometimes scrape our gums and inner cheeks. You just need to change your aligners every two weeks until you complete the treatment.

If you are thinking of getting an Invisalign treatment, look for an Invisalign dentist Calgary SE dental clinic service. Find a professional dentist that is well-trained and experienced in Invisalign treatment. Visit the dentist for a consultation and check-up. You can set an appointment with different dentists so you can gauge whom you feel most comfortable with.

Discuss with your dentist or orthodontist if this is the best procedure for your dental condition. Your specialist will be able to determine if you are viable for Invisalign treatment. Consult and ask your dentist about dental insurance and costs.

Based on your x-rays and teeth impressions, your dentist will design a customized treatment for you. A 3D image will serve as your dentist’s guide so that he can determine the movement of your teeth and calculate the length of treatment. It usually takes an average of one year to complete the procedure.

Why you Should Consider it

As you change your aligners every two weeks, you will notice the gradual shift of your teeth.  Your dentist will be able to track your progress and give you an evaluation every one and a half month. Invisalign can correct different types of dental problems including crooked teeth, gapped teeth, overcrowded teeth, overbite, underbite or crossbite.

The aligners are manufactured using BPA-free plastic material. It’s easy to wear and won’t irritate your cheeks and gums. You can just take it off every time you eat or brush your teeth. It is recommended that you use your aligners from 20 to 22 hours a day to achieve better results.

Aligners are easy to clean. You can use an Invisalign cleaning kit or brush it with lukewarm water. Since you can remove it when eating, you can continue with your normal food intake without having to worry if your food will get stuck in your braces. For sports activities, you can continue to use it or opt to change it temporarily for a mouth guard as needed.

As you can see there are many advantages and benefits to using Invisalign treatment. It is more convenient to use than the regular dental braces that have wires and metal brackets. Check with your local Invisalign dentist Calgary SE offers.

2011 U13 Steve Nash Youth Challenge Summary https://snyb.ca/2016/03/11/2011-u13-steve-nash-youth-challenge-summary/ https://snyb.ca/2016/03/11/2011-u13-steve-nash-youth-challenge-summary/#respond Fri, 11 Mar 2016 14:39:11 +0000 https://snyb.ca/?p=2279 This past weekend the Basketball BC U13 Steve Nash Youth Challenge took place at the Langley Events Centre.  The event featured 10 boy’s teams and 7 girls’ teams squaring off in their respective tournaments.  In addition to the standard tournament, Basketball BC welcomed the BC Wheelchair Basketball Society (BCWBS) into the festivities to participate in 4 exhibition games.  2 of these games were played against Basketball BC tournament teams and 2 were games against other wheelchair basketball teams.  The inclusion of Wheelchair Basketball into the event made for a unique experience for many individuals, who gained valuable insight and experience into the challenging sport.  Thanks go out to Makiko Harada for doing a great job coordinating on behalf of the BC Wheelchair Basketball Society.

The Steve Nash Youth Challenge is an U13 tournament specifically designed for teams that are enrolled in the Steve Nash Youth Basketball Program across BC.  This year’s event featured teams all the way from Vanderhoof to right next door in North Langley.   The tournament featured many exciting, highly competitive games which concluded with championship games for both genders on Sunday.  In the Boys A division, the reigning Basketball BC U13 Metro League “B” division championships from North Langley (NLBA) managed to finish round robin play undefeated and went on to defeat RYBL by a score of 46-40 to claim Gold.  In the B division final, TCYBA’s Banting Beastz showed resilience by defeating North Langley 63-56 in the final.  Earlier in the tournament they had lost to that same North Langley squad so congratulations are in order for showing such resolve.

On the girl’s side, the tournament started off with a bang as TCYBA took on Delbrook in a game which went down to the wire.  After a back and forth affair, Delbrook managed to hang on to defeat TCYBA by a score of 54-49.  As the tournament progressed, a rematch was set between the same 2 team, this time for the gold medal.  Again a close, thrilling game occurred and Delbrook once again narrowly edged TCYBA 45-40 to claim 1st in the Steve Nash Challenge.  Congratulations to TCYBA as well for showing great hustle, skill and team effort in what should be considered a great showing.

The event was deemed a great success as many enjoyed the spectacular facility the games were held at.  The crowds were alive and competition was fierce, which attributed to great experience for everyone involved.  Thanks to all players, coaches and parents who helped put on a sensational tournament and we look forward to seeing you at next year’s Basketball BC U13 Steve Nash Youth Challenge!
